Charlottetown, PE – Joseph James Entertainment is making the official announcement today, July 15, 2017 that it will begin its process of rebranding as Problem Entertainment.
Problem Entertainment was launced in 2015 as a production arm of Joseph James Entertainment under the supervision of Shawn Martin and John Houston. The brand’s name came from the Apollo 11 space flight that ran into issues in orbit on it’s way to the moon. From that mission came the famous line: “Houston, we;ve had a problem.” This in part, being Houston’s last name as well is where the brand’s name has come from.
With a new outlook for the company and in a branding standpoint, Martin decided that the entire company be named Problem Entertainment, thus ending Joseph James Entertainment. However, several of the other brands under the Joseph James banner will remain including Joseph James Pictures and Joseph James Records.
There is no set changeover date as this will be a thing happening over the next week or so to be completed by late July 2017.
After the full rebranding, another statement will be made as to what will be coming with the rebrand and what will be left behind.
