Charlottetown, PE – Problem Entertainment is making the official announcement today, July 21, 2017 that it has finishied its process of rebranding from Joseph James Entertainment.
Problem Entertainment was launced in 2014 as a production arm of Joseph James Entertainment under the supervision of Shawn Martin and John Houston. The brand’s name came from the Apollo 13 space flight that ran into issues in orbit on it’s way to the moon. From that mission came the famous line: “Houston, we;ve had a problem.” This in part, being Houston’s last name as well is where the brand’s name has come from.
With a new outlook for the company and in a branding standpoint, Martin decided that the entire company be named Problem Entertainment, thus ending Joseph James Entertainment. However, several of the other brands under the Joseph James banner will remain including Joseph James Pictures and Joseph James Records.
Remaining from the former Joseph James Entertainment is the Joseph James Music Group (JJMG) which consists of Joseph James Records, Unbreakable Recordings and Cavendish Records.
Joseph James Pictures Group is now known as Problem Entertainment Pictures Group (PEPG) and consits of Joseph James Pictures and MarKenz Productions. Problem Entertainment, which used to be a production company, now serves as the distrubutor.
Joseph James Communications Group is now rebranded as Solar Red Publishing Group and consists of Solar Red Publishing, Dark Dungeon Books and Solar Red Photography.
Not returning from the former JJE brands are Endless Evidence Clothing and Joseph James Publishing.
