Problem Entertainment pushes back the release date of “Seclusion” a dramatic black and white short film, due to needed post-production time.
Charlottetown, PE – Problem Entertainment has announced the release date of August 31, 2018 on Seclusion, to be pushed back to the following month; with a new release date of September 21, 2018.
“Seclusion” is a dramatic short film written by Shawn Martin and John Houston, starring John Houston and directed by Shawn Martin. The film is produced by Shawn Martin and John Houston under the Problem Entertainment banner.
The film follows Ben, a young man whom after a tragedy several years prior, lives his life in seclusion. The film follows one of those days.
The film was originally set to release on August 31, 2018 but due to a much more complicated post-production than anticipated, will now release the following month.
The film’s needed extra post-production time is due to the nature of the film being black and white and the unexpected needing of visual effects that were not initially noticed while filming.
The film will release on September 21st, 2018 on YouTube and will be able to purchase the same day on various digital media outlets. Editing will be done by Shawn Martin at Joseph James Pictures with music by Josh Woodward, while the soundtrack is to be released by SR71 Records, a label of the Unbreakable Music Group.
The film will be released in black and white and was the first film to be shot in multiple locations.
It is the first production shot using the Canon EOS 1200D (Rebel T5) as well as the first production to not be produced nor distributed under the Joseph James Pictures brand as both production and distribution will be handled by Problem Entertainment.
Production stills were handled by Solar Red Photography, a brand under the Solar Red Publishing Group of brands of Problem Entertainment.
The film will be made available on DVD exclusively through Amazon.com at a later date.
